Chelsea Occasional Childcare (COC) was set up by local mothers over 30 years ago and has been a favourite for children and parents alike during these years. The childcare centre provides flexible, short term childcare for families which is affordable and fun. The facility has grown to include a Playgroup space at the front of the building.
It is a not for profit community run centre run by a committee of parents in conjunction with qualified staff. The centre is a great place for children to receive quality early education in a fun and safe environment, and the families in our area are very lucky to have access to such a unique facility.
We have age specific areas both inside and outside which ensures young minds are kept stimulated. We are strong believers in encouraging learning through play and we have plenty of equipment which is rotated to on a regular basis.
Our centre is a Sun Smart centre and the staff are first aid trained and hold current first aid certificates. We are an anaphylaxis and asthma aware centre.
